Welcoming new members at the University of Liverpool

David Brookes-Lennon and Phil Brookes-Lennon

David Brookes-Lennon and Phil Brookes-Lennon joined Liverpool Liberal Democrats on campus to meet students, encourage new members and talk about how people can get involved locally.

David and Phil Brookes-Lennon joined fellow Liverpool Liberal Democrats at the University of Liverpool for a membership drive, meeting students and talking about how getting involved can make a real difference across the city.

It was a brilliant opportunity to hear what matters to young people, explain how local campaigning works and encourage more people to play an active part in Liverpool's future.

The West Derby team is made up of local people who care about their neighbourhoods and want to help with practical community campaigns. You do not need any previous political experience, and there are plenty of ways to take part, from talking with residents and delivering Focus leaflets to sharing local updates and supporting local action.

Whether you can spare an occasional hour or would like to become more involved, David and Phil would be delighted to hear from you.
